Travel Advisory: Guidelines to Filipinos and Foreign Nationals Arriving in the Philippines
The Philippine Consulate General of the Philippines in Istanbul, Türkiye reiterates the following entry requirements and guidelines for all arriving Filipinos and Foreign Nationals in the Philippines based on IATF-MEID Resolution No. 2 dated 04 October 2022:
1. For fully-vaccinated individuals: Pre-departure testing shall no longer be required. Just present any of the following proofs of vaccination:
- WHO International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
- VaxCertPH for balikbayans who had their COVID-19 vaccination in the Philippines
- National/State manual/digital vaccination certificates of a foreign government
- Other proof of vaccination
2. For Unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or children below 15 years old,whose vaccinations cannot be independently validated:
- Accompanied/traveling with parent or guardian: To follow the quarantine protocol for the accompanying parent or guardian.
- Unaccompanied: To follow protocols set forth in Item 3 below.
3. For Unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or whose vaccinations cannot be independently validated:
- For fifteen years old and above: Present a remotely supervised or a laboratory-based rapid antigen negative test result, administered and certified by healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, pharmacy, or any other similar establishment, taken within twenty-four (24) hours, prior to departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation, excluding layovers, provided, the passenger has not left the airport premises or was not admitted into the transit country.
- For fifteen (15) years and above who failed to present a negative antigen test: Undergo laboratory-based rapid antigen negative test, administered and certified by healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, pharmacy, or any other similar establishment, taken upon arrival at the airport.
3. Additional Requirements
- Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months at the time of arrival in the Philippines.
- Fill out the eArrival card at least two (2) days prior to get a QR Code.
Upon Arrival at the Airport
- Scan eArrival card QR Code and present your vaccination card to the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) personnel for validation.
- Have your Passport and travel documents validated by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
- Claim your baggage.
- Exit at the Arrivals gate for airport taxi service or previously arranged pickup service with your hotel or travel agency.
- NO QUARANTINE NEEDED but self-monitor for any COVID-19 signs or symptoms for seven (7) days.
