Istanbul PCG and BCDA delegation discuss investment and partnership opportunities with the Foreign Economic Relations Board and Türkiye-Philippines Business Council at DEIK’s Headquarters in Sariyer, Istanbul.

16 October 2024, Istanbul, Türkiye - In support of the Philippines’ thrust to support economic growth through infrastructure development and investment promotion, the Philippine Consulate General in Istanbul and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) met with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEIK) and the Türkiye-Philippines Business Council (TPBC) to explore partnership opportunities.

The BCDA delegation, led by President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang, came to Istanbul to receive two (2) Stevie awards at the 21st Annual International Business Awards held at the InterContinental Hotel Istanbul on 11 October 2024. The group also undertook benchmarking meetings and networking activities in support of development initiatives in the Philippines.

The BCDA is a Philippine Government-owned corporation that forges public-private partnerships to push forward vital public infrastructure such as tollways, airports, seaports, and major real estate developments. Its flagship projects include the Bonifacio Global City in Fort Bonifacio, Newport City in Villamor Air Base, the 93.77-kilometer Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, the New Clark City, and Clark International Airport.
