The Philippine Consulate General in Istanbul, led by Consul General Shirlene C. Mananquil, kicked off the National Women’s Month Celebration (NWMC) by holding a special flag ceremony at the Consulate on 08 March 2024. A Filipina client also participated in the ceremony.

Throughout March, the Consulate will also observe #PurpleFridays. During these Fridays, all personnel will wear anything purple as a visible show of support for women’s empowerment.
