PH Consul General Welcomes New Indonesian Consul General

Istanbul, 03 August 2023 - Philippine Consul General Shirlene C. Mananquil welcomed the new Indonesian Consul General, Mr. Darianto Harsono, during the latter’s courtesy visit on  28 July 2023.

Consul General Mananquil extended her heartfelt greetings to the newly arrived Indonesian Consul General and expressed her commitment to working closely together in fostering mutual understanding and prosperity,

In a gracious display of diplomatic camaraderie, the two Consul Generals exchanged introductions and discussed potential areas of cooperation to further strengthen the ties that bind the Philippines and Indonesia. With shared goals of enhancing trade, cultural exchanges, and regional collaboration, Consul General Mananquil and Consul General Harsono expressed optimism for a fruitful partnership in promoting ASEAN in Türkiye. 

Both officials also discussed the upcoming ASEAN Day celebration happening at the Galata Tower on 5 August 2023. END
