15 March 2023 - The Philippine Consulate General in Istanbul warmly welcomed on 14 March 2023 the Assistance to Nationals (ATN) Team, led by Senior Special Assistant of the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs (OUMWA),  Atty. Roy B. Ecraela, who came from a mission in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Senior Special Assistant Ecraela apprised Consul General Mananquil and her team of recent developments in the current efforts of the Department in assisting Filipinos in coordination with the existing Migrant Workers Offices at several Posts.

The Consul General expressed commitment to working closely with the Department in attending to the concerns of over 2,000 Filipinos in Istanbul and other provinces under Post’s jurisdiction. END
