Through the initiative of the Philippine Consulate General in İstanbul, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Lebanon, headed by Atty. Alejandro Padaen, held an outreach program for Filipinos in İstanbul and other surrounding areas on 3-5 December 2021. Services offered included verification of work contracts as well as OWWA membership updating.
On 5 December 2021, POLO-Lebanon also held a dialogue with leaders of Filipino community organizations in İstanbul and Bursa. The outreach services and meeting were both conducted in Hyatt Centric Levent Hotel.
